Catherine Hawdon qualified as a solicitor in 1974 after training in Norwich and London. After a career break, she returned to work in 1985, combining this with the role of volunteer adviser/solicitor with the Citizens' Advice Bureau until 1998 when she joined Rogers & Norton. She specialises primarily in Wills and the Administration of Estates, with associated tax planning, and also deals with the conduct of the affairs of the elderly via Attorneys or Receivers appointed by the Court of Protection. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Solicitors for the Elderly and of the Law Society's Probate Section.
