Tom Lawrence

Tom graduated in law from the University of Hull and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. He joined Rogers & Norton in 2007 and became an Associate in April 2010.Tom's focus is on offering clients advice and assistance with all aspects of private client work including Trusts, Wills and Administration of Estates, with associated tax planning, and he also advises clients on Powers of Attorney, Deputyship and matters concerning the Office of the Public Guardian and the Court of Protection. The 2009 edition of the Legal 500 specifically commented that Tom “has built a reputation for high-quality and attentive service”.

Tom has presented seminars for Roger & Norton covering the following topics:

“Why make a Will – Problems and Pitfalls” 

“Inheritance Tax: The Current Position” 

“Lasting Powers of Attorney: The Changes Explained”

"Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Court of Protection"

Tom is currently undertaking the examinations required to become a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). He is an Associate Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly and The Law Society's Private Client Section and is also an active member of the free legal advice scheme run by Age Concern in Norwich
